Jonny Torrio started his own mob in New York and moved to Chicago. AL Capone joined Torrio's gang. Torrio's operations included bookmarking, loan sharking, hijacking, prostitution, and opium trafficking. Torrio moved to Chicago because his aunt's husband Jim Colosimo was being blackmailed by the Black Hand. Black Hand is an extortion group that came to the United States. Torrio and his gang gunned down the Black Hand after the extortions got the money. Torrio married a Jewish woman named Anna Jacob. Colosimo divorced Torrio's aunt. Torrio did not like that and had Colosimo executed in 1920 by a person name Frankie Yale. Frankie and Torrio got charged for murder, but the charges did not hold up. Then Torrio parented with Dean O'Banion. Dean O'Banion was hijacking outfit's liquor trucks. O'Banion wanted Torrio and Frankie out of the picture by making them look like they committed a murder in the outfits local club. Frankie and Torrio escaped jail time again and the charges got dropped. After O'Banion got mysteriously murder and no one knows who murdered him. It is rumored that Torrio hired Frankie again to murder O'Banion. Torrio was ambushed and shot four times by O'Banion's crew for murdering their boss. Torrio got shot in the chest, neck, right arm, and groin. He would have died if the shooter did not run out of bullets. Torrio survived that hit. After his recovery he went to jail for 9 months. While in jail he paid the Warden to get a bullet proof cell and two armed guards at his side at all times. Torrio went back to Italy and gave full control of his gang to his protegee Al Capone.

Al Capone became the boss of the mob in 1925 when Torrio got seriously injured from an attempted assassination. Before Al Capone took control of the mob he lived in New York with his recent Italian immigrated parents. His family was poor and was looking for a better life in America. When Al Capone was going to school, he would play hooky and hanged around the Brooklen docks while he was in sixth grade. One day during school his teacher hit him for insolence and Capone fought back. He was sent to the principal's office and the principal gave him a beating. That was the end of Capone's school years. Capone's family moved to the outskirts of the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. Where he would meet his wife Mary (Mae) Coughlin and the famous Jonny Torrio. Capone once actually worked legitimate jobs and they were munitions factory and as a paper cutter in Chicago. Torrio introduced Capone to Frankie. Franke got Capone working for him as a bartender and a bouncer at Harvard Inn in Coney Island. While working at the bar Capone made some rude insults to a woman at the bar. Her brother punched and slashed his face. That is how Capone got the nickname "Scarface". Capone married Mae after the first birth of his child. Capone wanted to become the family man, so he moved to Baltimore where he got a job as a bookkeeper for a construction company. Then his father died from a heart attack. Capone worked went to Chicago to work with Torrio. In 1923 reformist mayor wanted to put an end to Torrio and Capone's operation. To stop that from happening they had a person they wanted to win the mayor election. To ensure their candidate won some voters were shot. Capone lived a luxurious and public lifestyle. The St Valentine's Massacre was caused by McGurn's men dressed up as police officers to murder Moran and his men. Moran tried to assassinate McGurn who was a hit man for Capone. Capone finale went to jail from tax envasion.
