The commission involves the five family leaders of New York (Tommy Gagliano, Vincent Magano, Joe Profaci, Joseph Bonanno, Lucky Luciano), Buffalo (Stefano Magddino) and Al Capone from the Chicago’s Outfit. They were created to represent everything present in Western U.S and to settling wars and internal conflicts. The commission ruled over the National Crime Syndicate. The commission got involved in the Bonanno war. The war was where Bonanno disappeared because he was involved with Joe Magliocco trying to attempt a hit on Carlo Gambino and Tommy Lucchese. Bonanno was a part of the hit because his family started to slip. The Commission took control of Bonanno's family, so Bonanno tried to fight against them taking the family. Bonanno gave up trying to get his family back. Bonanno promised he would never interfere in New York Mafia affairs again and if he broke his promise he would be killed on the spot.
